Q: I have tried everything. iPhone 5 wont connect with iTunes Mac

I have tried everything online I could find. I have tried resetting network connections, restoring iPhone, everything. I have an iPhone 5 and a Late 2011 Macbook Pro running latest OS X and iTunes. I have tried reinstalling iTunes, updating drivers, everything. My iPhone will charge on my Mac but I cannot find it in iTunes. I recently did a clean install of my Macbook and transferred over old backed up files (I didnt restore the computer from a backup).

Can someone please help? My phone and Macbook are far out of warranty but I would like to update the music on my iPhone, any help is greatly appreciated.

Make sure you transferred your iTunes library correctly to the "new" computer. Also carefully review the "After you transfer your library" section here:
