Q: Bluetooth compatibility

I am thinking of buying an external portable bluetooth speaker made by Monster. Does anyone know if this is compatible with my macbook pro running mavericks?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014), OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)
