Are you saying it even runs in 10.4.11???
Online Plug-in 11.2 for Mac (Note: No longer supported)
Release Date: Aug 26, 2010
(This product has reach end of maintenance and is no longer supported by Citrix.)
Use for on-demand access to Windows, Web,and SaaS applications from any Mac running OS X 10.6 (32- and 64-bit).
Yes, it is not supported but still can use it. We use it as VDI for work. The only difficulty I am having is the cursor disappears once it is on the Desktop Viewer window.
What happens if you disconnect the mouse & reconnect it?
Same issue after it is disconnect and re-connected back. Cursor on non-Citrix screen can be seen but once it is moved over to a Citrix screen, it just disappears.
And clicking anywhere on the citrix screen gives no hints of it?
Once the cursor is over the Citrix screen, I cannot see it. However, when I move the mouse within the Citrix desktop screen where there are files on it, icons of those files are flashing like there is a cursor clicks on them. If I double click in one of the flashes, it opens the file just like normal mouse double click. The issue is I cannot see where the cursor goes when I am moving the mouse around until I see a "flash" on an icon or field.
I think you're going to need 2 mice to make this work in 10.4.11, 1st one to maybe click on the desktop to show both mice, position 2nd one over citrix, & click second one.
Not sure if it works, creative though and thanks for the proposal. Still, can't go with this solution for work, simply inefficient.
I can't find any version less than anywhere. 😟
What does citrix do anyway?
Just thought of something to try...
When it disappears, Force Quit/Restart the Finder.
We use Citrix for desktop virtualization (VDI). We can log on to the company's network from anywhere, by any device, in any time. We can also BYOD for work which saves the company's cost of personal device purchases and maintenance.
Only a 6th grade education here, but I wonder if an old version of Team Viewer would help?
