Since the recent IPhoto update, my Samsung Galaxy camera is not recognized. I cannot import my photo's from the camera.

What recent iPhoto update? How are you trying to connect?
The update for IPhoto that made it Photos and changed some things. I connect my camera directly to my MAC. I've always done this and never had a problem until this most recent update. I have a Panasonic camera also and that works fine so I know it's my Samsung that it's not reading:(
iPhoto is not changed. A new app, Photos, was released. Can Image Capture (in the Applications Folder) see the device when you connect it?
NNot sure but I will check later and let you know
When I try to Import my photo's after I plug in my camera to my MAC, it starts to import and then stops and says "unrecognized file type". I don't see "Image Capture" anywhere. Where is the Applications folder???
HD -> Applications
Or search with Spotlight, or use the launchpad
Can't find it anywhere. Also, when my camera starts up I get a message that says "SIM not provisioned MM#2" Don't have a clue as to what that means. I'm hoping when the iOS 9 comes out, it will fix this problem:(
