Q: Server App defect after password change

I've set up a home network using OS X Server.

After I reset my admin password, naturally my calender and contact services went offline.

The apps asked me to re-enter my password and but wouldn't accept the new one.

I tired deleting the CardDAV and CalDAV accounts and creating new ones but I get a "A secure connection couldn't be established" promt.

I even tried moving server.app to the trash and back without any luck.

Any ideas?

Ddi you fix your keychain password as well?

Depending on how you changed your password, your keychain password may have been updated, or maybe not. Server admin Keychain has many of the certificates and passwords for everything server admin uses.

Hey Grant, thanks for pointing that out.

It did still have my old password logged in the keychain. Changed that. Calenders and contacts still offline though

When I try to change the password under internet accounts it tells me "Unable to verify account name or password"

In a typical 'Server' setup the admin password is for a local user. You should also setup a 'local network user', which you use to connect to the services.

I stop all services and back-up before changing the admin password.

The server admin user is the same as the local admin for my computer. I tried setting up a second network user, still didn't change anything...
