Cannot delete songs or playlists in iTunes match

Hi all,


since today I am not able to delete songs or playlists from iTunes match. I am using iTunes 12.2.1.16.

Normally there should be a checkbox, like "Also delete this song from iCloud?", described here: Delete songs and music videos from your iTunes library with an iTunes Match subscription - Apple Support.

But if I want to delete - wether holding ALT or not - I get this:

User uploaded file

It is German, but you can see, there is not any checkbox to delete it from iCloud.


Analog behavior with playlists: If I click delete, they disappear instantly.

After a few moments, when iTunes finish his next iTunes match refresh. All deleted songs and playlists are displayed again in iTunes. Furthermore, I am not able to edit meta data of songs, because match overrides them as well. It seems, that match always restore a library from time X (I think this morning) and overrides all changes which are made between X and now.


What I tried:

  • Restart Mac
  • Switching off/on iCloud Library


I use Apple Music, too. Maybe this is a hint.
