I've gone to my Library/Preferences folder & there's no com.apple.finder.plist to delete in order for me to see actual picture icons of images on my computer. I've checked all sorts of listings via Google, but no one says what to do if you don't have a com.apple.finder.plist. Please advise? Thank you!
Are you checking the user Library Preferences in your user folder?
In Finder hold down the option/alt key while selecting the Go menu item. Select Library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist.
I have no com.apple.finder.plist
