I am trying to update my iPhone 5 but can't remember my password! What do I do?!?

Trying to update my iPhone but can't remember to my password to access it. what should i do?!

Apple id or screen pass code

Forgot passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support

OR

If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support

I can't remember my passcode needed to update software on my iphone. What can I do? Thanks
