Q: Family sharing

Family sharing. I have added my 2 children to my account via family sharing. On their iPad we can share all purchased apps, but now that I gave my son my old iPhone5, he doesnt have access to all our apps. Is there a limit to the number of devices? I have done the family sharing set-up on the phone.

iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

    Hello lieslfromparys!

    There may be 2 problems:

    - The iPhone 5 needs iOS 8.0 or higher to use family sharing ( so if it's lower download the software update)

    or

-The apps are striked for him (you can set this in the setting)

    So check this out!

I hope I could help you.

    Have a great day!

    Family sharing problems with Contacts:

We have over 2000 Contacts which Family share perfectly among our Macs.

But Contacts will not share among the IOS devices because unlike the Macs the IOS devices don't allow the user to specify a separate iCloud account for Contacts.

This is a big problem, which appears to have an easy solution.
