AAll of my texts, my missed calls EVERYTHING is going to all other products. To my husbands iPhone and iPod, to the other iPhone and to all the kids iPods.
this is NOT ok amd a breach of my privacy. im new to my iPhone 5 and I know I must have said yes to something while setting it up. Please help me shut
this feature off!

You are sharing an Apple ID with at least one other person. Stop doing that.
WE have a family ID and will keep that, I just don't want my text msgs going to EVERY product in our home. Texts should be private!
Then don't use the same Apple ID on other devices!
There is no such thing as a "Family Apple ID." Do some research into Family Sharing.
Apparently there is such thing as our family having 1 ID. I'm sorry I came here to ask for help. Snarky answer isn't needed. I'll figure out how to handle this on my own.
Use the link I set you for using the primary Apple ID for purchases and then have everyone else get their own Apple ID. There is no other way to fix it unless everyone else in the family removes the Apple ID as a valid iMessage receiving account. But at any time they could add it back and see your texts.

Click on the blue letters in my response that says, "Set Up Family Sharing - Apple Support
That will let all of your family have their own Apple IDs for mail, messaging, iCloud etc. but still use a master Apple ID in the App and iTunes Store for purchases. Whoever controls that account can also set it up that purchases must be approved by them if they want although I'm guessing you wouldn't want this. Doing this will solve your problem with text messages. Read through it.
yes my family has the same id for apps and everyone has a differnt ID for facetime and messages, gamecenter etc.
