Macbook pro broken from lysol wipes

OK so the other day after cleaning my computer with wipes i turned it on and the screen had lines then got worst the next day. after i sent it off to apple they told me applecare doesnt support spill damage and i never told them about the wipes because i was hoping that they wouldnt notice. i just saw they have a story saying you can use wipes without bleach to clean your computer. i did all the blog had said because most is just commen sense. i want to tell them about the wipes but im scared they wont belive me because i never mentioned it. what should i do?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

Just be honest. It's more likely that a cleaner that's dedicated for computer screens will take oft the lines.

FYI .. never spray liquids direclty on Apple products. Spray on a clean cloth first.

The MacBook Pro Retina user guide clearly says you can use a clean, lint free cloth slightly moistened with WATER to clean the screen and computer, but under no conditions can you use any cleaning agent. Wipes are not to be used according to Apple's user guide so they will be within their rights to say this is not covered by the warranty.
