I have received a malware warning on my ipad: "http://www.supportm.net There is a .net framework file missing due to some harmful virus. Debug malware error 895 system 32.exe failure."
Powering down and restarting brings me right back to the same screen. How do I get rid of this?

I know that this alert can be concerning to you, but rest assured we can get this fixed for you.
Now what you are seeing is just a pop-up on Safari. The reason for that is the type of error that it is quoting is not part of your iPad system. To take care of this, all you would need to do is close out that tab in Safari. Start with double tapping the Home button to bring up Multitasking and swipe up on Safari. Then open Safari, then tap the X on the tab that keeps giving you the error. You will notice that the alert does not continue to happen and you can use Safari like you once did before. Chris: Yesterday I started to have a similar problem and I think it is a malware. I did all you said and it seemed to work but today again...What can I do? I inset a screen-capture to show you what happens to me (yesterday and today):
Double click the home button, then dismiss each app by swiping the index material that sits above the apps up and away. Then reboot by holding both the home and power buttons at the same time until the apple logo appears, about 10-40 seconds, then release both buttons and let it continue the startup process.
Press the home button to bring down Safari. Then double-tap the home button to bring up the multi-task list. Force closed Safari and other applications by swiping upwards on the thumbnail of the app. Then go to Settings>Safari>Clear History and Website Data. Go ahead and restart Safari. Everything should be okay after that.

I agree it is probably malware. I cannot read what you have on the screen shot, but if you have cleared your History and Website data, then it is possible that your router has been infected. You may want to research that.

Yes, that is what I mean. Your home network could have malware, if you did what I recommended before by clearing History and Website data.
