removing malware from my ipad

I have received a malware warning on my ipad: "http://www.supportm.net There is a .net framework file missing due to some harmful virus. Debug malware error 895 system 32.exe failure."

Powering down and restarting brings me right back to the same screen. How do I get rid of this?

Hello bookwoman3,
I know that this alert can be concerning to you, but rest assured we can get this fixed for you.
Now what you are seeing is just a pop-up on Safari. The reason for that is the type of error that it is quoting is not part of your iPad system. To take care of this, all you would need to do is close out that tab in Safari. Start with double tapping the Home button to bring up Multitasking and swipe up on Safari. Then open Safari, then tap the X on the tab that keeps giving you the error. You will notice that the alert does not continue to happen and you can use Safari like you once did before. Take a look at the articles below for more information.
