It would be helpful if you indicated the exact year MBP that you have and the current OSX.

Jul 20, 2015 1:33 PM in response to OGELTHORPEby "80 GB" iPod,I have a MacBook Pro 17 inch 2010 & a Macbook Pro 13 inch 2012. They are running 10.3.3

Also I am not sharing anything, bluetooth is off, all items in accessibility are not checked I do not have anything plugged into my computers. Energy settings are set to 15 min and put hard disk to sleep whenever possible. Even when all programs are shut off I close the lid and the battery drains until the computers die. I never had this problem until I started to use Yosemite.
I had read this article OS X: When your Mac doesn't sleep or wake - Apple Support and nothing helps. I am thinking of downgrading back to Mavericks but thought I would try asking here first.

Jul 20, 2015 1:59 PM in response to OGELTHORPEby "80 GB" iPod,Sorry,I meant 10.10.3.
I will try 10.10.4 but I am in a country where upgrades are hard to download and take a few days and lots of money. I also had this problem when I first installed Yosemite and with 10.10.2 so I do not hold much hope for 10.10.4 as it seems to be a Yosemite problem.

I understand your constraints. Make certain that you do have your data backed up first. In order to reinstall an older OSX, the HDD will have to be erased.
I do not have an answer here. However this link essentially says not to delete it since it is mandatory for using the MBP:
