Left click some times does not work. Try to close a window hit the red X but nutting happens, try many times still no action. If i left click elsewhere on the window then the red X the window may close. Tried 3 different mice, the same on all. Also happens on pull down tabs Safari, and other places.
This happens on both my Mac book pro and my Mac pro, very annoying

Checked activity monitor <1% cpu usage.
Some low-level functions are handled by the System Management Controller, and a Reset of the SMC may be appropriate. Besides which, it's easy.
Post back if you need specific instructions.

Tried the SMC reset on both computers, but no help. The left click still is intermittent, was really annoying in Eagle cad today which uses the left click a lot.
Any other ideas?
