Import photo via USB?

Hi,


Straight to the point.


I use my phone alot taking pictures of cars on my job(selling cars and uploading pictures)

Now im not able to find these pictures when connected to my windows computer. Only option is to email them, which requires 3-4 emails because of the size of the pictures.


Is it really impossible just to connect the phone and copy/paste these pictures over to my computers haddrive, and no im not interested in using iTunes.


My co-worker uses and Samsung phone and its no problem for him. It takes 4-5 times longer for me..

It's not at all impossible. Your photo software software on your computer should be able to import all the photos from a camera connected by cable. Connect your phone and look for an "Import" option under a menu. Your iPhone is seen as a normal digital camera.

What tonefox suggested is the standard recommended way of sending camera roll photos to your computer and it should work for you. I would start with the basics. Reboot your PC, close the photos app on the phone, force restart the phone and then try again.


Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps. Swipe left to find the app you want to close. Swipe up on the app's preview to close it.


To force restart the device, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.


If that refuses to work for you, there are third party WiFi apps that let you transfer photos to your computer that work quite well. I don't know if any are free, but I use this one and it works well for me.

However, you really should be able to import the photos from the phone to your PC via the USB cable. FYI, iTunes never figures into this equation.
