I Have a old G5 running on Mac OS 10.5.8, i did something when i tried to ajust screen resolution, ans now when i start thé G5 ane it get to Apple logo, after it show sur an error tha says: Not optimum mode recommanded mode 1280 x 1024 Hz error.
I tried to star tin safe mode but it start ni safe mode, but i don' t know to do this, i use regular keyboard Microsoft

I have tried in safe mode same thing happen the Apple logo appears and after the little square that mention not optimum mode etc.
I dont use a Apple keyboard, juste à Microsoft keyboard so I imagine that the shift button si the same
Yes, Shift key is the same.
There is no beep sound when I stars thé G5 so I presse thé shift key but lime i said previously i get not optimium mode

On a PC keyboard generally...
Windows key = CMD key
alt key = Option key
In fact, do 3 in a row, takes a bit of time.

You hold those 4 keys down all at once, normally until you here 3 tones, but if no tones are being heard I'd say hold all 4 for 5 minutes, or see the screen flash 4 times.

Yes but I tried with another monitor and I got the same kind of error, it was working fine, the problem came because I change the resolution and I think I set the Mz to hight by mistake,
Have you let it sit on that screen for a few minutes to see if it corrects itself?
Yes I let sit a good 10 minutes. I will try with to a fresh install. I bought this used, so I hope that the person who sold me has a dvd because I don't know where to find the Mac Os 10.5.8 dvd or iso image.
I've found dozens of articles/posts relating that problem to failure of HW on Samsung monitors, no idea if setting Hz too hi can damage it.
What was the second monitor you tried?
A HP monitor, both them were working fine until I change the resolution in the sys pref, I see the logo of the Apple when it load
And I connect my samsung monitor on a laptop that I have, running windows 7 and it is working fine,
