Q: when i try to create widnows iso file i got error input/output. canu please help me?

i tried to create windows.iso file from the disk utility form the disc but when i try to create image file from cd through disk utility..it shows eror message like input/output error.. i tried many times but same error continues. can you please help me?

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

1. Can you see files on the DVD in Finder?
2. Are you using Create an ISO image for Boot Camp from a Windows installation DVD - Apple Support to create the ISO from the DVD?
3. It is possible that the physical DVD is scratched or the drive is unable to read it properly. Can you try cleaning the laser lense of the Optical drive?
