Q: My photos from my iPhone are taking super long to import to my computer to Photos

My computer is taking forever to import my photos from my phone to my MacBook on the Photos application. It acts like they are being imported but it isn't progressing whatsoever, and it is super frustrating. I've restarted my computer multiple times and tried to import only selected items, and its still not working but its acting like its doing something.
