And if I want to gain weight?
I´m a thin man and want to gain weight so the calories burn goal of exercises of the watch is useless to me?
Thank you!

Not sure why the watch would be useless. It's not designed to make you lose weight. It's designed to help you be more fit. Thin, unfit people die at a higher rate than overweight, fit people. Consult a registered dietician for advise on an eating plan to help you gain weight in a healthy way.
you should keep them at a min
I'm a short man and want to gain height :S
Useless? To gain weight, you need to take in more calories than you expend. Therefore, I would think it would be useful to know how many are expended.
But, if you think it is useless, I would not recommend you buying it.

Hi George, I think useless in terms of the exercise program since I should burn the minimum of calories...should I set the goal to 0 (LOL) ?
I love the watch anyway.
I would not pretend any expertise, but it is my understanding that exercise is valuable for general health and fitness in any event.
Again, not offering advice which I am not qualified to do, but were it me, I would still exercise but make sure I get more than enough calories. Use athletes as an example. They exercise strenuously and eat indulgently.

Hi George, you´re right... exercise is very valuable;my point was the way the exercise goals are meant on the watch app. I mean, you choose an ammount of calories you wanna burn and the watch tell how it is going on.

Thank you Meg, I will do that.
I just asked because I don't understand how the exercise app was designed since there are goals of calories...I've set my watch to minimum, but of course,I'm not much involved in exercises. In other words, if you have a plan to lose weigh you should exercise and burn an amount of calories calculated but and if you want to gain weigh? See, although watch is not designed to make someone lose weight it's easier in my mind than to gain.
I'm not a dietician. However, if you want to gain weight, you need, as has been suggested, to eat more (but of the right foods, not just ice cream). But, unless you're running marathons, you probably don't want to exercise less.
And if I want to gain weight?
