just received an email telling me to up/date,

just received an email telling me to up/date, this is exactly what iCloud sent me, "Your iCloud for Windows update is waiting", Do I need to do this? I already have an iCloud account and works fine?????? Thx niftykeen

Hi nifty,


That looks legit, the two links are valid Apple knowledge base articles and not links to some bogus site.


The icloud.com domain is right.


Since it is sending you to a valid Apple site it sounds ok. Instead of going by way of the links, though, I would use my browser and go to the Apple.com site and then to the iCloud download...just to make sure the download was coming directly from Apple. I am just not very trusting 😉
