Q: I have to Unpair my Apple Watch EVERY morning to receive Notifications (Text

I turn off my iPhone 6 every night.  It is something I just do.  And every morning when I turn it back on, I need to Unpair my Apple Watch from my phone and go through the entire process of repairing to the phone.  I have become a pro at it but it is getting annoying.  I am wondering if this is operator error or if there is an actual issue with the Apple Watch.  I have not made an appt with Genius Bar yet, and probably should, but hoping I can figure it out.  I did speak with someone in an Apple Store and he told me to stop shutting off my phone which is not the answer I am looking for at this point.

I am not sure why you are having to un-pair and re-pair your watch. Although I leave my iPhone on pretty much 24x7 but I have shut down and restarted my iPhone several times and I have never needed to re-pair the watch. Tomorrow morning after your iPhone has completely re-booted, instead of un-pairing and re-pairing your watch, try swiping UP on the watch then swipe right until you get to the window containing the Airplane mode, do not disturb, silent mode, and ping phone switches. Be sure the first three are OFF and then try pinging your phone and see if that doesn't work.
