iPod Touch 6th Gen 16GB, or 5th Gen 32GB?

Hey guys, first time posting here, so I have no idea what I am doing (constructive criticism would be nice!).

My question is, since I'm looking to buy an iPod touch and the 5th gen isn't exactly outdated by any means, should I opt for bigger capacity with the 5th gen (32GB), or go with a more updated iOS (and internals) in the 6th gen with only 16GBs? Currently, I have ~400 songs (will possibly expand to 500-600 in future) which take up around 4GB. I do not plan to watch movies on the iPod, so that's not an issue. My main issue is, will I have ample space to take a decent amount of photos and still have enough room for apps?

If I'm not specific enough, PLEASE let me know. Thanks ahead of time to anyone answering! 🙂

Oh, and my price range tops at $200. I can buy an Apple certified refurbished iPod touch 5th gen 32GB for about $180, or the 6th gen 16GB for about $190-200.

Thanks!

On my old iPod 4 16gb, I had around 50 apps, 150 songs, and 300 photos and still had about 1gb left of storage. Plus, I had a couple videos which take up the most space typically. I definitely would go with the iPod 6 because it was very internally updated from the 5 and the 5 will probably not have as many future IOS updates as the 6. Plus, Apple is trying for its new IOS updates to take up less space now. I own a 6 now and to me it is definitly a very nice, smooth running, and quick device. If photos take up too much space, you can always download them to a computer.
