That is interesting if all you did was change your cable modem. Let's see if we can get Wi-Fi working for you again on your Airport Time Capsule.
To start, open up Airport Utility on your iMac. You should then see a list of Airport base stations that you have set up. When you click on the Airport Time Capsule, you should see the Amber Light there as well. Clicking on that will bring up a list of issues that will needs to be addressed. Take a look at the article below for more detailed steps to get you back up and running again.

What is the make and model number of the modem?
Did you have your Mac connected directly to the modem when you first set it up?
