I'm sorry to hear you are having these issues with iTunes on your Mac. If you are having issues accessing or playing available iTunes Extras for your purchased content, you may find the information and steps outlined in the following article helpful. In particular, you may want to double-check your country settings, and also be aware of the slight differences for content purchased prior to July 10, 2014:
