Sexual messages sent through text (spam?)

For the past couple of weeks I have been getting sexual messages sent through text. the sender is always from a random email and it is never the same email twice. There is also a link to their webpage attached. Does anyone else have this problem or know why I do? I am pretty sure it is spam and I never open the link just in case it is. I also never give out my phone number through an app or a web page or anything.

iPhone 5s, iOS 8.3

Definitely report it to the police. These type of messages were showing up on a lot of phones with my area code a couple of months ago and the police stated specifically that they should be contacted and have a report filed.

I would discuss it with your cellular carrier if this is an SMS. They may be able to determine the origin and provide a block.
