It says no mailbox for this recipient when i open outlook on safari?

I just bought this mac pro a few days ago. When I tried to open my outlook so i can look at my student account, it said "We couldn't find a mailbox for this recipient. Either they don't have a mailbox or don't have a license assigned". What does this mean? I just need to download something from my student account which i can only do in safari.
