Q: Reset. cant download Maverick

My Imac got stuck on a grey screen when trying to boot. Reset computer but everytime I try to enter my apple Id to download Maverick OS X it says "item unavailable, try again later. May have something to do with the wifi in the computer. Kepps dropping and saying seraching for network. Tried using an ethernet cord but since i cant get in i cant tell if its connected. HEEEEEELLP!!!!

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

Try checking your App Store Purchases tab. If you haven't previously downloaded Mavericks, it is no longer available.

I Can't get dat far. It only gives me the option to download maverick or run disk check

Are you booted into the Recovery Partition? Try rebooting normally.
