I want to create an apple id for my child (11), but I do not have or use credit cards. Is there a way around this?

I am trying to create an apple id for my 11 year old child. I just bought her an iPhone, and would like for her to be able to get some apps and really use the phone. However, I do not have or use credit cards, so I am looking for a way around having to use a credit card to "prove that I am an adult." Can anyone help?

It sounds like you want to have an Apple ID for your child without having to put a credit card on that account. Family Sharing may just fit the bill for what you want to do. That way the child gets to have an account, and can ask to buy purchases, and the only account that needs to have a credit card is yours, the organizers.
