You can do it in several ways including:

via USB cable Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac or Windows PC - Apple Support

Other options:

via 3rd party apps such as http://www.photosync-app.com

via Photo Stream: My Photo Stream FAQ - Apple Support

Your signature says iOS 7.1.2 but if you haven't updated that and are actually running iOS 8.3 or later and Yosemite 10.10.3 or later then iCloud Photo Library is an option to automatically have all of your photos on both devices as well as on iCloud: iCloud Photo Library FAQ - Apple Support
