how do i get pictures that were saved in aperture?
how can i get pictures that were saved in aperture since i can no longer access that app?

Aperture should sstill be in your Applications folder.
If you need to update it, move it to the Trash (don't empty it), log into the Mac App Store, open the Putchases tab. Aperture should be listed for download there.
