Jul 22, 2015 12:11 AM in response to Lucblydby King_Penguin,You can't (you can't permanently delete any purchase), all you can do is hide them via your computer's iTunes : Hide and unhide purchases in the iTunes Store - Apple Support (on the current version of iTunes the 'x' that should show on an app's top left corner when you move your mouse pointer over it doesn't show, but clicking there should still hide the app)

Jul 22, 2015 12:29 AM in response to King_Penguinby Lucblyd,Thank you for very much for your reply. I guess my real question is why not? I am hoping Apple with take note of this issue as I have read numerous online discussions with similar answers. I may just need to call AppleCare and voice my disgust. I real problem with this is in the case of an app that we don't intend to download or add. A really good example is in the case of people with kids; who somehow manage to get on their phone and download an unwanted app. I have heard of this happening a lot and even known someone who worked for AppleCare, and this issue was constantly coming up. SO, COME ON APPLE… JUST DO IT!!! ALLOW PEOPLE TO GO INTO THIER ITUNES 'PURCHASED' SCREEN AND PERMANENTLY DELETE AN APP IF WE SO DESIRE!!!
In addition Hiding and unhiding doesn't seem to work for me either; so I'll have to check out that discussion.
Thanks again for the suggestion.

Jul 22, 2015 12:49 AM in response to Lucblydby King_Penguin,These are user-to-user forums, Apple are not here - if you want to leave feedback about it (but it's probably unlikely to happen) : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html
What happens when you try to hide an app ? I've just tried it, clicking on an app's top left corner in Purchased on my computer's iTunes, and it disappeared from there and from the Purchased tab in the App Store app on my iPad.
