Pairing with Polar H6 heart rate monitor

I have an Iphone 6+, Apple sports watch, and Polar H6 heart rate monitor. I have been able to pair the H6 to all my other devices but I get nothing when I try to pair it with my watch. I've tried disabling pairing with all the other devices as well and trying to pair only with the watch but nothing works.
