Not unless your battery is itself experiencing cycles (drain followed by charging). If your Air is continuously ALWAYS plugged in, it would be ordinary for there to be no such cycling.

Conceivably the battery might discharge over a long period, and dip below the 3% charge threshold and be topped off, but it would likely take many, many months to equate to a single cycle.

If you are experiencing cycles, make sure your Magsafe cord is always seated and always giving a green light. It so happens that my older MBA has a worn connector, and sometimes loses contact, resulting in a power drain, if I don't notice it.

Not quite accurate.  When the charge level reaches 100%, the battery is no longer charged but power is supplied to the MBA.  Thus the battery will slowly discharge to about 95% and then it will again be recharged to 100%, and so forth.  In theory, 20 of these 'recharges' will equate to 1 cycle.

    Ciao.

Thank you ! Have an idea now. But is it safe if my computer is always plugged in? Can it save my battery or can can it makes battery life long?

If you wish to keep the MBA connected to AC all the time, at least monthly run under battery power alone to about the 40% charge level and then reconnect to AC.

Lithium Ion batteries require periodic activity in order to maintain good 'health', otherwise the battery life will be shortened.  For more information on these batteries, you can find good information at BATTERY UNIVERSITY.
