Cannot hard sync music to Ipad air

Hi There,

I am having difficulty "hard" syncing my music to my ipad air.

The music is on the ipad but will only play over wifi.

When I try to sync from my pc, it tells me that the "icloud music library is on"

I have tried to turn the icloud off through edit>preferences>uncheck icloud music library - to no avail

I can "hard" sync my music to iphone 6 with no problem, it allows me to sync music as normal.

I have not subscribed to itunes match

Hi Egghead1234,

I understand that you have some questions about your iPad regarding the iCloud Music Library. Since you seem to have the iCloud Music Library activated on your iPad, you may need to check your Apple Music settings in order to disable the iCloud Music Library and allow syncing from iTunes again:
