iCloud photo library has corrupted my files - anyone else had this?

Help anyone!!

Having read about the iCloud photo library I decided to give it a whirl, despite it being a beta, but after two weeks my photos and videos stopped loading up (my broadband is sufficient to allow this upload) and now the videos on my device do not play. Not only are my videos broken on my phone when I have logged into iCloud to download them again they are displaying the whirling wheel in the middle of the screen and will not download in a playable format. I switched off the iCloud photo library and it hasn't brought back my originals. I have lost around 100 videos and even if I restore to a previous backup this does not bring them back to working again. Can anyone help, I am tearing my hair out now.

Thanks

Hello

Do you mean WMP? if so

You using some other way to transfer videos.

How do I know?

Which photo and video formats does iCloud Photo Library support?

iCloud Photo Library automatically stores all of your photos and videos that you add from an iOS or Mac device in their original formats, including JPEG, RAW, PNG, GIF, TIFF, and MP4.
