Ipod 4th generation stuck in recovery mode?

I have a ipod 4th generation touch, along with an broken power/sleep button. Is there any way for me to get it out of recovery mode? I've had this ipod for almost 2-3 yesrs, and it's the first time it's went in recovery mode.
