I have an iPhone 5S and an iPad,they both receive IM text and iMessages but only the iPad gives an audible notification when a new message arrives! Can this be resolved so both devices give notification?
iPhone 5s, iOS 8.4, Other device is an iPad

If your iPhone is not giving an audible notification when you receive messages, then please ensure your notification preferences are configured correctly, along with ensuring your device is not in silent or do not disturb.
