I have just had my ipod touch stolen from mexico and I have located it in ohio usa and want to know how I can retrieve my pics videos and data and also block from further use.................please help there are sentimental pics and videos which I cant replace......regards Diane

No app on the iOS device is required.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod/iPhone/iPad on the iOS device in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected or cellular data is on and connected for, on a computer browser go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up or continue to show off-line.
- You can also wipe/erase the iOS device and have the device play a sound via iCloud if the device is connected to the internet.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the device and report to police and carrier if iPhone or cellular iPad

Regarding getting you photos back:
- Bast was is to restore another iPod, iPhone or iPad from the last backup of the lost device.
- If you have an iTunes backup there are apps that can extract some info for an iTunes backup of the iPod.
- Also. if you previously setup your iPod for PhotoStream, yo can setup your computer, if it meets the iCloud requirements yo can setup PhotoStream on the computer and likely get your late 30 days of PhtoStream photos download to the computer.
You turned on iCloud on the iPod you can access iCloud items like contacts via icloud.com
