Password not accepted for ssh

I'm the local IT Admin, so I have my user account, a local admin and root all on.

I try to ssh myusername@localhost

I get the RSA key fingerprint, are you sure you want to connect and i answer yes

It asks for a Password:*

None of them work

Tried mine, the Admin, and the root account, none work

I even removed the known hosts file in ~/.ssh in case it was a bad file from a migrated computer.

Sharing Control Panel has Remote Logon set for all users.

I know i'm missing something easy

Thanks.
