apple watch app frozen on my phone/not responding

Try these steps before backing up and restoring your iPhone:

1. Force quit the Apple Watch app on your iPhone:

• Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps, Swipe left to find the Apple Watch app, Swipe up on the Apple Watch app's preview to close it.

2. Restart - and then, if that hasn't worked, force restart your iPhone:

• Restart: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears, Drag the slider to turn your device completely off, After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
• Force restart: press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home button for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
• Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Thank you for quick response. Of course I tried all steps that you mention above. Nothing help. I even can't unpair watch because program stuck.

Before that happened I had also problem with Siri. After a few weeks a normal work, Siri stopped recognize my native language (Russian) in messages and starts using only English.

Same problem for me. Will do backup and try to restore iPhone. 😟

Have you definitely tried to force quit the Apple Watch app? (please check my post again, as you may have read it before it was edited).

Reset to factory settings.

Can you delete the App. ? If so I suggest delete App. and re-download.

I had the same issue. Tried soft reset. Could not pair my Apple Watch. The only thing that worked for me was a full restore.

How do you do a full restore?
