Thunderbolt Display Brightness

Hello all,

How do I increase the brightness of my thunderbolt display on my Mini Apple??

The "control brightness" on the display preferences does not exist, the "F" control buttons do not respond. So how can I control the brightness???

Currently the display is too dark, making my work with the computer miserable
