I bought an iPad as a gift and was asked if the receipt can be sent by e-mail. I realised that my email address is outdated and doesn't work anymore. Is there a way to get the receipt for my purchase? Logging into the iTunes store only shows app purchases but no devices.

Did you purchase the iPad at an Apple retail store or the on-line store? If a retail store, go back to the store and ask that they print a receipt for you. If the on-line store, go to the on-line store page and use the contact information to get help from the store staff.
