Hi,
I got an 3rd generation iPad and an iPhone 5s, both of them aren't able to make annotations in PDF files.
Can anybody tell me what's wrong? I got iTunes U 3.0 on both devices.

I've got a similar problem. I can annotate certain pdf documents and others not.
The ability to annotate a specific file is a function of the restrictions placed on the PDF when it was created.

I create my PDF's like this:
I make a Word doc (on a mac) and then I turn it into a PDF (via the Print function).
How can I change the restrictions?
