Q: Macmini server 4.3 connectivitie problem with windows computers

Sorry on my last post I make a mistake, it said "they see the server but user name and password did work", it should said "they see the server but user name and password did not work", sorry for the inconveniences.

Ok, after a long search I found on the following forum(http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/152900/share-mac-files-yosemite-with-wi ndows) a response posted by Joe Casadonte that resolve my problem for a windows Pro computer.

It may be the same discussion that Tetsujin references, but the setting to use is NOT "Send LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated" -- you should use "Send NTLMv2 response only". After I made that change, I connected to the share, put in my Mac username & pwd, and it connected.
