Messages Notifications

Sometime within the past few weeks, I've stopped getting Messages Notifications. This may be related to the last time I updated…unsure. I'm also no longer getting sound alerts for messages.

Here's what I've done so far:

Hard reset.

Closed all open apps,

Changed all the Messages notifications settings and then set them back to their original settings.

Disabled and re-enabled Notifications.

Disabled and re-enabled Messages.

Turned zoom on and off in Accessibility (a user posted somewhere that this fixed his problem).

My next step will be to erase the phone and restore from a backup, but I thought I'd try here first.

The iPhone is a 4S. It's running iOS 8.4
