Q: Multiple charges or scams

I've received multiple emails that seem to be scams indicating someone has purchased items from a different system not previously used for purchases on Itunes, checked my bank information nothing but now just received a legitimate purchase on Itumes music but still not sure if its legit or scam. Please has anyone recently being getting new emails, scams etc last 2 days.

Thanks

iPad Air, iOS 8.4

They are likely to be phishing attempts trying to get your account and payment details (there are regular similar emails posted on here) - do they have a 'click here' or similar link to request a 'refund' ?

yes it looks like they were phishing emails as one asked me for information after I clicked through to cancel the purchase, which of course I did not but the last one was a very legit looking receipt from Itunes with all my information, again another link to cancel and went to my information , VISA etc, and asking for my cc code which of course I did not give...so how did they get my information. I changed my password but was it Apple that was hacked or did they hack my VISA and itunes information from somwhere else. This is all occured after ITunes was down yesterday...also do you think I may have also hit a malicious link, but using my Ipad to check emails

    Thanks...

They didn't have your details when they sent the email, it will have been sent out to lots of email addresses, a lot of which possibly aren't even valid email addresses or won't be linked to iTunes accounts - by clicking on the link you will have let them know that the email account is active, so you might get similar phishing emails (and possibly not just purporting to be from iTunes).

the email was sent from my email to my email address, so they had my email no? oh well...I will have to call my cable company to block as much as  possible ...they obviously had my email from somewhere...as its seems a big coincidence after Itunes was down, etc. so Ipad can get viruses, if so wha'ts the best way delete all my cookies?

No, it's easy to spoof the address that an email was sent from, they did not know that the email account was active or was linked to an iTunes account (until you told them by clicking on the link in the email and entering your details on their site). The email will probably have been sent to hundreds, if not thousands of email addresses, all seeming to have been sent from their own account. Similar emails have been doing the rounds for years, they are regularly posted on here.

I'm not aware of any viruses (or malware) for iOS devices, unless you've jailbroken it. If you want to delete all cookies and browsing history then Settings > Safari > Clear History And Website Data

no I never left any details on their fake site , just clicked the link that took me to a page asking me for it...obviously I knew it was a fake, but the next one had my details I clicked to but they were asking just for my CVC number which of course I did not give. So my account was hacked somewhere

Your account has not necessarily been hacked, clicking on links in emails can pre-populate the email address on them. Does anything show on your iTunes account's purchase history ? And you've changed your account's password ? Asking for the CVC won't help them unless they also have your card's details, the full number shouldn't show on your iTunes account, asterisks should show - if you think that somebody has your card details then get the card replaced
