how can i convert a duration number to a normal dec number, so i can use the number to calculate financials?

how can i convert a duration number to a normal dec number, so i can use the number to calculate financials?

e.g.

start time: 11:30

end time: 13:30

biz duration: 2 (=end time - start time)

hourly income: 5,000

total income: 10000 (=hourly income * biz duration) //// it is a DURATION number, not a Dec number.)

-> how can i convert the duration number 10000 to a Dec number 10,000 ?
