Q: how can I move bootcamp to a new internal hard drive

My original hd in the MBP is failing, but I can still see the Bootcamp partition. I want to install a new hd and move the Bootcamp to it. I have not found a way to do moving that is simple.

Please help!

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

    1. If you are willing to re-insall Windows, backup your important files, and put them back after you have installed it.

    2. You can look at third party products like Winclone or CampTune.

    3. You can use Windows Backup/Restore and restore a System Image. You should keep the same size as the original Windows.

     

    The first two options allow you to resize Windows partition while the third option does not.
