How to add photos to an email in the order and position you want

1). No matter where the cursor is, if you drag a photo to an email it is placed at the end of the email. If I am replying to an email I want the photo positioned as part of my response, not at the end of the email below the other person's message to me. So I have to cut their message and then paste it below my photo. Not very efficient.

2). When I hit the photo browser button on an email it only brings up iPhoto, not Photos. Since I am not using iPhoto that doesn't work for me.

3). If I have dragged several photos to an email from Photos, I can't get them in the order I want. If I want one at the top (for example) it won't go there even if I put the cursor there. It will be placed at the end. If I try to cut and paste the photo to the top, it will simple return the photo to the bottom. So my only work-around is to cut all of the photos and go back to Photos and drag each photo one at a time in the order I want them in the email.

Anybody have better work-arounds for any of these problems?
