"White Screen of Death"

I have an ipod nano 6th generation that's about 4 years old, I had it for a pretty long time. All a sudden, it turned black and wasn't wanting to turn on! after pressing all three buttons, I got a white screen. I decided to read about it more and found out its called the "white screen of death". Now I know what it is, but im having trouble fixing it. Any ideas?
